Program

NABO Euskara currently offers 2 levels of Euskara classes:

  1. Hasierako Maila I (Beginners 1)
    • Complete beginners, A1.1
    • 2-3 semesters
  2. Hasierako Maila II (Beginners 2)
    • Low beginners, A1.2
    • 2-3 semesters

The program culminates at an A1.2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), equivalent to an Intermediate Low level in Reading and Listening and Novice High level in Speaking and writing according to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

As our program grows and our students advance, we will expand our levels to include A2 and beyond. Some N.A.B.O. Euskal Etxeak/Basque clubs offer higher levels than those offered by N.A.B.O. Check in-person class offerings near you for more information.
